Sid sat there, stunned for a moment, then rubbed his forehead.

"Warlock. Man witch? So she knows, huh... she’s aware she’s being commanded and controlled. That’s actually good news for me. At least she’s conscious of it."

He muttered to himself as he checked the small patch of space Evelise had left him.

As he cursed under his breath, a high pitched scream tore through the cabin. Sid’s eyes went wide.

"Did she hear me?"

That next scream ripped the air, sharper and louder than the last.

"Evelise?! HEY WHAT IS GOING ON!"

He bolted to his feet, stepped straight over her precious charcoal line without hesitation, and rushed to the doorway. He pulled it aside.

Inside the small room, the old sagging bed had collapsed inward like a pit of quicksand. Evelise was being dragged down into the rotten mattress, her arms clawing at the floor as she tried to hold herself up.

Her face was twisted in panic. From every seam of the bed poured a swarm of pests— rats, cockroaches, centipedes. Spilling out like black water, scattering across the wooden floor as their home was disturbed. Sid stopped just inside the doorway, one eyebrow raised.

"Seriously? You claimed the room full of bugs? Serves you right."

Evelise shrieked at him, eyes wild.

"Don’t just stand there— get me out!"

He couldn’t help the smirk tugging at his lips.

"Get you out? But, I’m invading your personal space; maybe I should just go back to my own space..."

She barked, her voice frantic.

"HUMAN! Stop teasing me— EEKK! Help me!"

His smirk widened at Evelise’s desperate plea, relishing the sight of her normally composed demeanor crumbling. He took a step closer, his eyes roaming over her exposed legs and the tantalizing glimpse of red fabric between her thighs. The pests crawled over her skin, their tiny legs tickling and biting as they explored her helpless body.

"Nope. Not good enough..."

He spoke in a low, deliberate drawl, drawing out each word just to make her squirm a little longer.

"If you want me to pull you out, you’re going to have to say this: Master, I consent to you invading my personal space. I’m sorry for what I did to you from the very start up until now. As I sink into this rotten mattress, please, Master, save me."

Her face went scarlet green with fury.

"YOU! When I get out, I’ll bite you, and I’ll make sure it bleeds! Eek— stop crawling on me!"

Sid tilted his head slightly.

"Say it..."

She struggled harder, but the mattress had already swallowed her to the waist. The pests crawled higher up her legs, scattering across her clothes. Her fangs showed as she hissed in pure frustration.

"Fine! P-please, Master— f*cking help me!"

She shouted, the words dripping with fury and humiliation. Sid grinned and reached for her.

"Now that’s more like it."

He grabbed her arms and pulled, bracing his feet against the floor. The old wood creaked under his weight. Something soft and slick brushed against his ankle. Sid glanced down just in time to see a fat rat crawling up his boot, its tail flicking. A shudder ripped up his spine.

"Ah— hell no—"

He tried to shake it off, but the sudden panic broke his footing. He slipped, landing on one knee. Evelise, half buried in the mattress, stared at him with wide, furious eyes.

"What are you doing?! Don’t let go!"

"Rat— rat— on my foot!"

Sid screamed, shaking his leg wildly. The rat scurried away into the shadows, but the motion pulled him off balance. He pitched forward, his arms still locked with Evelise’s, and they both lurched down toward the collapsing bed.

"WAAAH!"

"YOU BASTARD— NO!"

His fall was caught by Evelise’s body, his chest pressing against hers as they lay sprawled across the sagging mattress. The sudden impact knocked the wind out of both of them, and for a moment, they simply stared at each other, stunned and breathless.

As the shock wore off, Sid became acutely aware of their compromising position, like they were in a hook sex-position. Instead, a soft gasp escaped her lips as Sid’s weight shifted slightly, applying more pressure to her sensitive folds. Sid swallowed hard, trying to regain his composure.

"Tch, what in the world did we end up in here for? Fuck your personal space thing."

"Y-you, it’s your fault! It was just a rat! You act more scared of that than when you fought zombies!"

He muttered, refusing to look at her. But as Sid struggled to get out of the position, the bugs scattered even more, crawling over him.
