An evil glint flashed in Felix’s eyes, and his lips curved into a deep smile. "You suspect that they are the legendary Ravencroft family who bullied our Ivy?"

"Hm." Kael hummed in agreement. To prevent an innocent from getting implicated, he even confirmed with Silas.

What astonished him, though, was... it was Silas who revealed the existence of the Ravencroft family.

"Ah... Ivy’a adoptive parents? We need to pay them a visit." Ember’s innocent smile masked the darkness lurking within.

Dare to bully her sister? She will let them have a taste of real evil.

Felix, Ember, and Kael reached the position and indeed saw three foul-smelling gaunt figures lying on the grass.

Various whip marks marred their body, making them appear fragile and pitiful. Bruises and broken bones across their body can hardly be hidden.

However, the heart-wrenching sight didn’t incite any pity in the Nightbane family’s hearts.

"Hi there, old man." Felix greeted with a huge grin, though polite and cheerful, the evil glint in his eyes scared Magnus who tried to scoot away.

"Ouch... that hurts. Here I was greeting you sincerely and even thought of taking care of you. But... your action stabbed my sincere heart. What an ungrateful person." Felix shook his head, and the next second, he kicked Magnus.

The impact sent Magnus along with Isla and Seraphina a few distances away from their original position.

"Brother, have you forgotten how ungrateful they were before our sister?" Ember’s cheerful voice sounded like a demon’s whisper in the ears of the three Ravencroft family members.

Magnus’s eyes widened in fear.

’They are Ivy’s family? They will make my life hell... no! I need to strike while the iron is hot and shift the blame.’

In the past weeks under Ivy’s constant torture and ’nurturing,’ all the familial bonds he used to care for were broken.

He watched with fear and agony as his biological daughter tortured him for a cup of water.

He endured his wife’s repeated betrayal for a few chunks of bread.

All the warmth in his heart for these women had faded long ago; now... all that remained was the thirst for revenge and his comfort.

"Hmph! Hmph!" With an agenda in his mind, Magnus desperately tried to speak; his effort ignited the interest of the Nightbane siblings.

"Got anything to say, old man?" Ember bent to his level, the wicked glint flashing in her eyes reflecting the bleak and horrifying future awaiting him.

Magnus gulped in fear; however, his strong will encouraged him to continue. He gave a firm nod.

A stinging pain reverberated through his cheeks, prompting him to spit out blood on the clothes covering his mouth.

"You had your time before. But you used it to torture our sister; why should we let you speak now?" Ember smiled calmly as if it wasn’t she who had slapped the old man.

Magnus continued to struggle, and Ember beat him without any reservation.

The Ravencrofts can treat Ivy like a mule, so why can’t the Nightbane treat the Ravencrofts as a punching bag?

"Hey, go and beat Isla and Seraphina! You know I don’t beat ladies?" Felix sounded anxious, while Kael sauntered over to Isla and Seraphina and kicked hard.

His action stunned both the Nightbane siblings.

This... this... didn’t their big brother almost maintain his gentlemanly behavior?

Kael indifferently glanced at them before rolling his eyes, "B*tches like them don’t count as women."

"Eh? Brother, do you know something we don’t? Why not enlighten us?" Felix’s eyes, curious, hovered on groaning Isla and Seraphina.

Even Ember kept her gaze fixed on Kael.

Their eldest brother was a man of principle. If he commits questionable deeds... there must be something fishy about the matter!

Kael didn’t hold back.

"Silas explained how the Ravencroft family had made Ivy steal the keys to his apartment when she was just 17. When Ivy refused, they dropped her in a forest area and let her return on her own. She had to walk for 20 km. By the time she reached Skyline residences, blisters had appeared on her feet. Yet, they made her do all the house chores."

Ember’s anger reached its peak, and the next second, she punched Magnus hard.

"Isla even tried to sell Ivy’s nude picture for $2." Though Kael looked calm and composed, his heart was burning with raw emotions.

Felix marched up to Isla, gripped her hair, and slapped her firmly. Once, twice, thrice...

Kael continued in an emotionless voice,

"This Seraphina was planning to sell Ivy to Damian’s wife’s side of the family. They had taken a fancy to Ivy and often dragged her to their house. They did not invite Ivy to pamper her; instead, they made her work like a maid. They practically treated Ivy as an employee."

Ember changed her location and reached Seraphina, who was shaking her head and trying to crawl away.

Seeing the fear in Seraphina’s eyes, Ember chuckled, "Don’t worry, old woman, tonight, I will treat you specially."

With that, she slapped Seraphina hard.

"Oh, and Isla broke Ivy’s left arm and cried to her mother, stating Ivy was bullying her. In the end, no one even lent a cent to Ivy to get treated."

Kael’s words reminded Isla and Seraphina of the evil deeds they had committed once; if they had known that one day they would have to pay for their crime, they would have behaved.

However, now it was too late.

Kael’s words made Felix’s and Ember’s interest transform into hatred.
