Surprisingly, Yumiko didn’t act any differently than before.

That is... If you count her constantly trying to act like a pet to be business as usual that is...

Which, now that I think about it, I’m surprised I adapted to that so quickly...

No wait... I think she actually might also be ramping up her ’pet’ antics because she was really trying to get my attention with it the last few days.

Well... That ended up sparking off a competition with Ries as they both tried to ’out pet’ each other and I found myself basically giving them belly scratches, ear scratches, head pats and chin scratches.

Obviously I wasn’t going to complain about that so I just went along with it.

On the other hand, I realised Renata actually took her new role as the ’maid’ really seriously.

In front of me, she might act a little childish and ditzy but I’ve found her discussing about the ship’s maintenance with Ries and also biology stuff with Mara with big words that I didn’t understand the meaning of.

And in those conversations, she wasn’t speaking like how she would speak with me where she’s excitable and active. Instead, she was actually calm and I would even say somewhat cold.

When I asked the girls about it, all of them just shrugged and said it’s just because she treats me differently compared to everyone else.

I wasn’t really sure if that was a good thing or not but the girls seemed to see it as something that was normal so I decided not to question it.

The other thing was that despite me giving her a room to herself, I would sometimes wake up with her sleeping beside me.

That wasn’t a problem by itself but usually one or all of my lovers might be there with me as well and we would have had a night of fun in bed with each other.

Usually we would then have to clean up in the morning but now that Renata was here, I would wake up to a completely clean room the next day.

Heck, she even changed the bed sheets that we were sleeping on without waking us somehow.

She didn’t ask any questions so none of us said anything either.

We ended up reaching the station faster than expected which I believed was thanks to Renata’s control of the ship.

The station itself was a giant cube with rectangular towers sticking out of its sides which I assumed were either docking arms or something since I saw ships hovering around them.

I looked at the station that was floating in the middle of an asteroid field before raising an eyebrow at Yumiko, "I thought you said it wasn’t that big?"

"Most of the space is taken up by machines meant to process the asteroids they mine. The actual living space inside the station is quite small, Mistress."

Hmm... I guess if she puts it that way, that makes sense.

"Request permission to dock then."

"Already done, Mistress. I’m sending the docking arm they assigned to us to the map now."

Mmm~ Yumiko certainly is adapting to her role pretty well. It seems like she has no problems with being our communications officer.

"Renata, set a course for the docking arm."

"Aye, aye, Daddy!"

Our ship pulled up to the docking arm and Renata expertly completed the docking sequence flawlessly.

As expected of her.

I then gathered everyone and started our planning, "Alright then... Let’s go through our goals here... We’re just here to sell our stuff and get out. So let’s just do that before we head to the place where Yumiko got her laser swords to get them replaced. Oh right, we also need some additional supplies if they’re selling any so we’ll get those too."

Yumiko raised her hand, "If you’re expecting this place to stock premium stuff like organic food... I can tell you right now that there’s no such thing here... Wait... Actually... You might be able to find some in the black market here but those would be really, really expensive and most likely sold in really limited quantities. I would even doubt the authenticity of them actually being organic to begin with."

"Well... I think we’re still good in the food category for supplies but I don’t mind getting some synthfood stocked as well."

The former Pirate Lord shuddered. "Does... Does that mean... We might go back to eating synthfood? I don’t think I can stomach synthfood anymore after eating what you made, Mistress..."

I chuckled, "Haha~ You don’t need to worry about that. I am able to make synthfood at least palatable instead of that disgusting thing that they are being sold as. Remember the sauces that you used with the food that you ate? They were made by mixing synthfood together."

She blinked at me, "Those... Were made with synthfood?"

"Mmhmm~ And remember the stew we ate just two days ago? The one where you ate five bowls of it? I made that using only synthfood as well. We don’t eat organic food everyday."

"That’s synthfood?! But... It tastes so good!"

Ries smirked at her, "Who do you think you are talking to?"

Yumiko stepped back as if she was struck before she muttered, "That’s right... This is Mistress... Of course! That makes so much sense now!"

I don’t know what she thought but I decided it didn’t matter so I didn’t question it.

Instead, I continued, "I think instead of going as an entire group, we’ll split up into two groups so we don’t spend too much time here. One group will be selling the loot and the other group will be buying supplies. Agreed?"

All of them nodded their heads.

Renata was the first to raise her hand, "I will go with Daddy!"

That started the other girls as they all started raising their hands and saying they would group with me instead.

I held up my hand, "I already decided who will group up with who, calm down. Since Yumiko has been here before, I’ll go with her to sell the stuff so we know we’re getting a good price for the stuff. Renata, you’re also coming with us. Amber, Mara, Ries and Lea, the four of you will be together. Renata’s clone will remain on the ship and guard it while we’re out."

Amber pouted, "Ehhhh?! Why? I wanna go with you, Tera!"

I patted her head, "As I said, Yumiko knows the place well so she’ll be the one dealing with the sales while I’ll be there to oversee nothing goes wrong. Renata is with us as our backup in case things happen and we need some firepower. And since Lea and Ries knows what supplies the ship needs, they’ll be going to purchase the stuff while Mara is there to make sure the things they buy are genuine with her telepathy and you are there as their backup in case there’s a fight."

Amber puffed her cheeks up even more but she knew that my grouping made sense so she couldn’t refute it.

Lea turned to Renata, "No offense, Mistress... But wouldn’t Amber going with you would serve as a better choice for security instead?"

"Well... I’m expecting us to get into a fight since we’re basically selling a whole bunch of weapons to what might be shady people and they might try to steal it or threaten us with it after we sell it. It would be easier to explain Renata being able to fight all of them on her own than Amber throwing them all around the place with her powers. You girls would just be buying stuff so if there’s anyone that’s dangerous, Mara would be able to avoid them and there wouldn’t be a fight."

"Hmm... I understand, Mistress. In that case, please be safe."

I turned to Yumiko, "There’s no problem going to the station armed, right?"

"Not at all, Mistress. In fact, you would be taken advantage of if you are found unarmed."

"Hmm... I’m going to guess that busting out the Power Armour is a little too much?"

"Yes it will be, Mistress."

"Alright then. Renata, Yumiko, grab one of the spare weapons we have in the armoury to arm yourselves before we go."

Renata tilted her head, "But I don’t need a weapon, Daddy. If I have to, I can make my own~"

To demonstrate, her hand turned into goo before reforming itself into what looked like the barrel of a minigun.

Ok, when I was thinking of having her be the guard for this group, I was expecting her to fight like how the androids did where she would pierce through bodies with her hands, not create weapons herself....

"You can shoot that?" I asked.

"Mmm... I should be able to, Daddy~ After all, I’m just using this to shoot little pellets of myself at my enemies so that shouldn’t be too hard to do~"

Great... So that means she really could shoot at stuff too.

I guess I really don’t need to worry then...
