She was already on the edge of it and was only lacking time and a good source of energy to make a breakthrough.

Although it was a risky plan, it was the only one she could use as she was sure that the fallen wouldn’t let her escape.

She muttered as she used up the remaining 500 star essence, increasing her physical strength by another 5000%.

She continued to dodge as the fallen appeared randomly next to her, although she couldn’t understand the mechanism behind this teleportation, she still managed to dodge with her future sight.

A kick landed on Stella as she flew sideways, due to the fallen holding back, only half of Stella’s abdomen was destroyed, as it started to heal.

Using her hands, she tried to block the flowing blood till her wounds healed. The fallen bent down and picked up the lord’s crystal.

Showing the glowing crystal to Stella, he smiled as he said.

"Looking for this?"

Before Stella could give a reply, the fallen opened its mouth as it swallowed the crystal in one gulp.

"Then you can find it here."

He continued as he pointed at his stomach. Stella didn’t say anything and just watched in silence. She knew that the chance of success was low.

Her strength didn’t give her the luxury to get the crystal, and she could only bet on the playful nature of the fallen to try to get the crystal.

Although it hurt her pride, she had promised her lord to cherish her life as much as she cherishes his. So for pride, she couldn’t give up her life.

"What if I am?"

Stella stated as she raised her sword, slicing at the tentacle that sprouted from the ground in front of her.

Her wings flapped as she flew into the sky, rushing toward the next crystal position with all her speed.

The tentacles chased, but it was too slow to attack her, so as she flew, tentacles like veins flew from the ground, reaching the ceiling.

A forest of flesh and eyes was created behind her as her hand reached toward the next crystal, her future sight warned, as she could see the fallen attacking her from behind.

So she turned back as she looked at the tentacles that were approaching her. From the corner of her eyes, she saw the pupil of one of the eyes in the tentacle turning gold before disappearing.

In its place, the fallen appeared with a smile as she quickly backed away, dodging the kick from the fallen.

"Pity."

The fallen muttered as it picked up the crystal and gulped it down, he smiled at Stella but Stella showed no reaction and continued toward the next crystal.

Such a scene repeated itself the third time, as even after knowing the trick of the Fallen’s teleportation, Stella simply couldn’t do anything due to the Fallen’s overwhelming power.

He gulped down the crystal one more and waited for Stella’s reaction, but to his dismay, the only reaction he got was the same cold face as always.

It made him feel bored as he just watched Stella rush toward the next crystal without doing anything.

Stella reached the fourth crystal, and this time, the fallen didn’t come to stop her as she picked it up.

’Bingo.’

Stella muttered in her heart as she looked at the fallen in the distance. Her plan to get the crystal had worked; it worked even better than she had thought it would.

She had guessed that if she didn’t show any reaction to the fallen’s action, the fallen might let her have the crystal just for the fun of it.

Although it was a gamble, it did have a high chance of payoff, and her gamble paid up.

She had thought that she would have to wait till the tenth crystal before the fallen got bored enough, but she got the crystal just in four attempts.

Not wasting this chance, she started to absorb the energy in the crystal as her third chain of ascension started to loosen.

She had already opened her first two chains, so the third chain was quickly broken as her ascension ceremony began.

Intense light burst from her body as she rose into the sky. The abomination wanted to attack her, but the cocoon of energy around her blocked its attempt.

The fallen may have enough strength to break the cocoon, but he didn’t do so and just watched with interest.

"I wonder what her expression would be after losing, even after her ascension."

He muttered with a smile as he opened his status panel, well, the status panel that had been corrupted by the energy of the first sinner.

All the physical damage is increased by 2000% when using the fist intent. The damage is further increased by 10,000% as the attack done will corrupt the body and stop any self-healing effect. If they aren’t able to resist the corruption effect, they will fall under the command of the user.

Majestic Outrage(King): Consume the king’s majesty to increase the overall strength and create a king’s phantom that can attack. One can choose to consume a large amount of King’s Majesty to strengthen the phantom; the strength of the phantom depends on the amount of King’s Majesty consumed.

Sin Judge(King): A skill of a corrupted judge that can see the sins of any living being. When the skill is used, it will judge the sin, and the greater the sin, the greater the buff provided. If there is a greater virtue, then a debuff will be given. What is sin and what is virtue is determined by the user’s standard.
