Chapter 18 - Ch.18 Reaching the Trancendent Rank

BOOM! CLASH!! SWISS!!!

As the spears and swords clashed the pace of the battle continued to increase as Stella became faster and faster.

Agel also burned all his energy as he gave himself all the boost possible, taking out his precious spear he injected it with holy energy.

The transcendent power in his body started to move, his eyes became pure gold as transcendent power poured into his spear.

"Die for me.."

Agel spoke without emotion, his anger disappeared, and his face looked as expressionless as a machine.

His face looked transcendent as he burned his realm for power. Stella's blood-covered face didn't change as she poured more sword aura into her sword.

Cracks on the sword started to deepen as if it would break any moment, but as more of her blood dripped onto the sword it seemed to strengthen it.

Her golden eyes started to glow as they started to change, and a star sky appeared in its place as her aura started to climb.

It seemed she had reached a certain realm as her flaring sword aura started to calm down, after a while they fully disappeared.

A sense of death filled Agel's mind as he looked at his broken sword of Stella, a golden glow started to condense with intense light.

"Holy Judgment!!!"

Agel's calm voice seems to break the sky as he seems to be turned into a bright golden star, the golden star falls as an intense wave of oppression spreads throughout the battlefield.

All the arrows and spells flying in the sky were disintegrated as the Angels flying in the sky also suffered the same fate.

Stella looked up at the falling golden star, her starry eyes glowed as a single star among them glowed driving away all the darkness.

Her soft voice sounded out as the sword in her hand started to glow with white light, unlike the Sword aura that covered the sword this light seemed to mix with the sword itself.

This was Sword Intent, something most spend their life pursing in vain but Stella learned this in a single battle.

She kicked the ground as her figure turned into a silver comet, it looked insignificant compared to the falling golden sun but the comet didn't stop.

In the sky the two classed, the explosion everyone had expected didn't happen, the silver comet sliced the golden star in half.

Agel looked forward as his golden spear collided with the silver sword and under his emotionless eyes the golden spear was cut in half.

With the golden spear, his emotionless self was also cut as fear appeared on his face, he could smell death creeping by.

He looked at the sword that appeared in his vision, it could easily cut off his head and end his life but the sword's position changed as it attacked his wings.

"AHHHH!!!!!!!!"

A blood-curdling scream was heard as two wings fell from the sky, golden blood fell the figure of Agel's started to fall.

Covered in golden blood and residual golden energy he looked like a falling star that had been slashed down from the sky.

"I said I would chip your wings."

He heard Stella's voice as he saw Stella placing her leg on his chest, she started to put pressure as his ribs broke.

Agel's fall accelerated he smashed on the crater left behind by the previous attack.

Agel watched with a pale face as Stella stepped on his body, he didn't even have the energy to scream as he knew death was near.

"Make sure to ask your Holy One to clean his neck."

He heard Stella's whisper and before he could even show anger his head was separated from his body.

With Agel's death, the fight ended as the moon rose in the sky. Stella looked up as she saw the starry sky and was lost in deep thought.

Neo watched all of this from a distance but didn't disturb her, he commanded all the beastmen to collect the corpses of the angels and Lig.

After a while, Stella turned her attention to her lord who was watching her from the top of the wall. Her starry eyes turned golden again as she slowly walked toward her lord.

Both of their eyes stayed on one another as Neo patiently waited for Stella to walk over, time seemed to stay still as they both only had one another in their eyes.

After some hours Stella stood in front of Neo, her eyes calm but also filled with some nervousness, they both stood in silence.

After a while Stella seemed to have decided as she spoke, her voice gentle and soft but also filled with nervousness.

"My Dearest Lord, I know this is selfish of me of me to ask this...."

"Was my performance satisfactory?"

This seems to have taken all of her courage, her usually arrogant and confident demeanor seems to disappear in front of Neo.

Neo found this cute as he couldn't help but smile, walking a step forward he hugged Stella.

"AW~"

Due to Neo's sudden movement, Stella released a surprised moan as he looked up at Neo's face. He had a gentle smile as he gently patted Stella's head.

"How can I ever be dissatisfied with my cute Stella."

Hearing Neo's voice and feeling his gentle pat she looked down as she buried her face on his chest, her face and ears turned red.

Stella's muffled voice was heard and before Neo could react an aura of transcendence started to rise from Stella's body.

Neo quickly backed down as he looked at the glowing figure of Stella, her eyes were closed as a pair of pure white wings appeared on her lower back.

A cocoon of light started to cover her entire body as it started to rise in the sky, with her evolution the starry sky seemed to come alive.

All the stars in the sky seem to move as with Stella's figure in the middle she was surrounded by the stars in the sky.

Even the moon seemed to fade away as a pillar of light fell from the stars covering Stella's figure.

"So much for a simple rank upgrade."

Neo said helplessly as he looked at the pillar of light that seemed to connect Heaven and earth, although his voice was helpless his proud smile couldn't be hidden.

With the movement of the stars and the rise of the pillar of light, the entire continent seemed to light up as all the creatures looked at the phenomena.

The Golden Draconic eyes opened again as a look of solemnity appeared in its eyes as it looked at the pillar of light.

It started at it for a while before closing its eyes again.

In the starry sky above a giant, dear stopped as it looked at the pillar of light connecting to the stars.

It's crystal-like horns glowed, it's deep blue eyes looked at the pillar of light, and the law of time and fate moved as its eyes seemed to gaze at the the river of time and river of fate.

Looking at the river of fate and time it searched for the origin of the pillar of light, and suddenly a sense of oppression covered its figure.

It was unable to move as fear of death covered its body, in its long life this was the closest she had been to death.

Her eyes turned up as she seemed to see a cold starry eye staring at her from the beginning and end of time.

The eyes looked at her figure as the river of time and fate seemed to stir as if on the verge of collapse.

Suddenly the eyes disappeared as if they had never appeared, the rivers of time and fate calmed down in an instant as she was thrown out from it.

Appearing above the starry sky again she didn't dare to move, the fear of death was still rotted in her heart.

But with that fear, there was also a question that appeared in her heart.

She knew she should have suffered a backlash from looking at the fate of such a great figure but for some reason, she wasn't harmed.

In the mountains of the extreme, the giant eyes opened again as it looked at the pillar of light in the distance.

"Star of Beginning..."

The ancient voice spread as all the beings in the lord continued to seem to hear it, they didn't understand the meaning of these words but a vague feeling in their heart told them that the age of chaos had begun.

All the ancient beings looked at the starry pillar of light, they also heard the voice so they closed their eyes.
