"Hmm.. waste of energy."
Angelia muttered as she turned her attention back to the domain battle, looking at the giant dragon head coated in law coming her way, she raised her spear. Powered by her domain, an illusory spear manifested behind her as she activated her light law.
"Heavenly Rain."
Light law by nature is the fastest of all laws; thus, with precise control, she thrust her spear forward hundreds of thousands of times. The crystal dragon cracked as a beam of light pierced through the domain before disappearing.
Near the center of the domain, Stella finished off the last mini crystal dragon as she looked at the sky, seeing Karma's massive figure and boosted life level, she narrowed her eyes.
Clank!!
She raised her sword as she blocked the crystal spear that tried to attack her from her blind spot. Just as she was ready to attack back, a beam of light traveled through the domain.
"Hmmm."
Her eyes narrowed as she understood the essence of the technique released by Angelia. Although it only looked like a spear attack, followed by an energy beam, it was far more than that.
The spear tip was thrust in such a way that the momentum of the first attack after hitting the target will merge with the second attack, and so on. Thus, after the end of the spear thrust, a final burst of concentrated energy will be released.
"My swordsmanship seems to have been unable to catch up with my strength."
Stella muttered; she had felt it since she resurrected and reached the ascension rank; her swordsmanship, which once was her strongest point, had now become the weakest.
Although her sword intent had evolved passed what it was before, her sword techniques are still the same. Except for the attack like the rising night, all other attacks fail to properly bring out her strength.
Even the void series that she had newly created, after the fight with the crystal dragon, she realized that they were just unfinished products.
"Hmm."
Lost in thought, she closed her eyes as her sword started to hum, and the ground beneath her started to shake as a large crystal dragon's claw rose from the crystal floor.
"Claw of Stagnation."
A soft dragon roar was heard as the claw was now coated in crystal law. It moved down at great speed, crystallizing all it touched. In her normal form, this is by all means a deadly attack, but she didn't dodge.
As the claw inched closer, her eyes opened, she raised her sword, her sword's intent hummed as it melted together with her sword, unlike before, her attack didn't cause any disturbance.
"Flower of Abyss~"
Just as she was about to release her attack, a playful voice was heard as a torrent of destructive energy drowned the claw, and the energy turned into a crystal being unable to harm the dragon, but it did stop the attack.
Stella's eyes twitched as she turned her attention toward the direction of the playful voice. Looking at Lily's smiling face, she had the urge to release her attack on Lily, but managed to hold herself back.
"Though you were exhausted and needed help, what, not even a thank you?~"
"I will cry, you know~"
After saying that, Lily put on a tearful face as she tried to let some tears fall, but looking at her smug grin, her acting can be rated as -10.
"Whatever."
Stella said as she looked forward, the frozen claw had disappeared, leaving behind crystallized energy.
"Since I need to vent, let's vent at the domain."
"Illusory Void."
Stella muttered as she did a quick vertical and horizontal slash; the place she had cut started to tear as a massive X-shaped slash mark appeared on the edge of the domain, nearly collapsing it.
"AAAAAAA!!!!"
A pain-filled roar resounded throughout the domain as a massive crystal dragon appeared from inside the ground, its body was bleeding as an X-shaped wound was carved on its body.
"How!!!??"
The dragon roared, but Stella didn't give an answer; she put her sword back in its sheath as she made her way toward Vesta's domain.
This was her new and improved void series attack. Unlike the previous one, when she cuts the void open and attacks with it, this time she cuts the very fundamental void as her attack.
Thus, anybody hit by her attack, as long as they can't control the void or their control is weaker than hers, will be sliced by her. This is an attack that negates defense in some sense.
As for why the crystal dragon survived, well, it is because of the weakness of this attack. anything that can solidify the void. The crystal dragon, when hot by this attack, instinctively uses its crystal law to solidify the fundamental void of these words.
"A great move to kill those weaker than me."
Stella muttered, this was an attack that didn't consume much energy and was more useful than other attacks to one-shot weaker opponents.
In the sky, just as Karma entered the domain, he could feel its suppression bearing down on him. A disdainful look appeared on his face, although normally, he doesn't like to move without a plan. Feeling the power coursing through his veins, he felt a little reckless.
After all, he is just Karma's avatar, and the knowledge he knows is limited; thus, he is more immature than the real Karma. Plus the fact that he has to bear with that clown who calls himself his lord has made him quite frustrated.
"Time to release some frustration.."
He said with a grin as his human half's mouth opened, karmic red flames gathered as a dark aura of death permeated within them.
"Death's Torch."
With a silent roar, the energy collected in his mouth fired out. As if by fate, the crystal dragon was also thrown out of its hiding place by Stella, so it was hit with the attack firsthand.
The fire continued to spread as it consumed the massive body of the crystal dragon. Lily and Vesta worked together to block the attack as Stella watched Karma's figure from a distance.
Angelia cursed under her breath as she looked at the opening move of the undead army she had seen in the deep void. She clasped her hands together, standing in a praying position as a massive shield covered her sanctuary.
As the attack spread, the already destabilized domain started to shake. The crystal dragon wanted to cry, but couldn't even do so.
Under normal circumstances, such an attack wouldn't have been much of a problem for him, but after having just blocked Stella's attack, he was still in a vulnerable position. Thus, this small thread attack became a great success for him.
With him having to focus all of his energy on protecting himself, the domain started to shake before it collapsed. The crystal world cracked as the wasteland and the sanctuary spread to cover its place.
Both managed to dominate half the area as all those alive found themselves in a new domain. As the flames died down, the crystal dragon's figure, now covered in crystal, was seen.
The crystal covering it started to crack and dissolve as all of its wounds healed in an instant. The dragon roared as it tried to activate its domain once more.
However, facing the two-way suppression and its limited energy supply, it was unable to establish a meaningful domain.
Just as it was about to wonder what to do next, its body moved as it dodged a point-blank blade from Stella's sword. Although the attack didn't look flashy, the power behind it can't be underestimated.
"Crystal Dragon Breath."
The dragon opened its mouth as it spewed out crystal colored flames. Stella entered the void behind her, dodging the attack as the flames spread, crystallizing all those it touched.
"Karmic retribution."
A massive great sword hurried toward it as the flames, containing a hint of darkness, tore through the crystal flames and slammed into the dragon's head.
"ROARRRRRR!!!!!"
Its body now covered in dark red flames, it thrashed in the air as a punch sent it flying. Karma chased behind as Stella turned her attention toward Angelia.
At some point, Lily had disappeared, and now rainbow colored flames surrounded Vesta, meaning that Stella had given the world wonder to her.
Angelia was staring at Vesta while Vesta was giving her a middle finger. Stella silently watched from the sideline, ready to make a move at any instant.
Angelia was also alert; Lily had disappeared at some point, so either she was calling for reinforcement or hiding in the darkness for a moment to attack. Looking at Karma and the dragon fighting in the distance, she couldn't help but curse at his recklessness.
Isn't it best to let Stella handle the dragon while they fight against Vesta and Lily? Well, it seems she was the one who ended their alliance.
