Chapter 84: 84. A fun day

Riki didn’t know if "subduing" was the right word to describe Anton’s current behavior. But Riki thought he had indeed done it. Subduing Anton to be on his side.

Humans are capable of changing to be anything, whether it be good or evil. It is the individual who will determine it.

It’s not easy to switch to goodness, because most people in Anton’s situation end up becoming criminals. But no matter how much Riki used his detection skills, he still couldn’t detect any evil in Anton. All he saw was Anton wanting to be useful to Riki, so that he wouldn’t feel even more guilty.

"What are you talking about? We’ll take turns. I can explain the complicated parts, and you two can explain the rest. That way, the professor will give us equal grades," said Anton.

Liz clicked her tongue in annoyance, "I really don’t like being in front of a lot of people."

"Then don’t be an idol, you fatso—oh, I mean... forget it."

Liz clicked her tongue, glancing at Anton in annoyance, "I’m already this skinny, and you still call me fat? When you’re much bigger than me?"

Anton rubbed the back of his neck, feeling very awkward at that moment.

"I’m sorry for always calling you fat. I used to call you a bulldozer too. I’m really sorry," said Anton.

Liz smiled contentedly, seeing how guilty Anton looked.

"Should I kneel in front of you so you’ll forgive me?" added Anton.

Riki came back to the gazebo carrying slices of red and yellow watermelon. Next to him was Selene, who was carrying avocado juice.

"Looks like you guys are getting along," said Riki as he placed the tray in the middle of them.

"Do you guys like avocado juice? It’s really good!"

"We’re not close, Riki. Anton just feels guilty about what he used to say to me," said Liz.

Anton cleared his throat several times because he felt very embarrassed. He quickly took a large glass of avocado juice and tried it.

Anton was surprised by the taste of the avocado juice. "Wait a minute, this is avocado, you made it into a drink?" asked Anton.

Riki laughed at Anton’s confused expression.

Liz, who was curious, tried it too, and she smiled broadly. "Avocado juice is really delicious! Especially with condensed milk."

"One of the villages that regularly supplies vegetables to Jayden’s restaurant also offers fruits, such as watermelons and avocados. They say this is called butter avocado because the flesh is soft, similar to the texture of butter. According to Jayden, this avocado is also good for juice, so I tried it," said Riki. He also grabbed a glass and was satisfied with its soft, naturally sweet taste from the honey, as well as the creamy taste from the combination of avocado and milk. Riki also added cheese cream that he made with cheese he bought in Arendale on top of the avocado juice. This made the taste many times more delicious. However, it wouldn’t be suitable for someone on a diet.

"How about planting butter avocados here too, Riki! The red avocados are also delicious," said Selene.

"Red avocados?" asked Liz.

Selene nodded, "Yes, Riki gave me a red avocado earlier. It’s elongated and large. I only cut a little and tasted it, it was very sweet! It’s really suitable as a fruit, especially as juice."

Hearing that, Liz swallowed her saliva, she also wanted to taste the sweet red avocado. If regular avocados are already delicious, what about the sweeter ones?

Actually, I really like that burger, I love it, but I’m afraid that if I eat a lot, I’ll get fat again like I used to. Because now, after I’ve lost weight, people have started to compliment me and say I’m very beautiful. They’ve also started to notice my singing talent after I became slim and beautiful. I can now wear beautiful clothes like Angeline, even though my outfits and Angeline’s are different. And... there are many more things I like about being slim like this. Liz’s words made Anton feel even more guilty, because he used to tease Liz by saying she was fat. Even though that was all he did to Liz, he knew it hurt her feelings.

Meanwhile, Riki, following his heart, suddenly hugged Liz from behind.

Selene was surprised and held back from shouting with joy.

"Liz, I also like your chubby figure; you’re still beautiful in any body shape. But if you prefer yourself now, I’ll support you. But you have to remember, the people who love you will still love you even if you get fat. And my gift to you will keep you thin, so you can eat whatever you want," said Riki.

"That’s exactly why, Riki. Your gift could run out at any time, so I’m getting used to controlling my appetite,"

Riki shook his head, "Eating such small portions will actually cause other illnesses, Liz. Eat normally, just reduce it a little, not that much."

Liz chuckled softly, "Alright, now let go of me, because I feel embarrassed in front of Selene and Anton."

Anton cleared his throat several times again, fed up with their affection. They looked so intimate even though there wasn’t much physical contact.

Unlike Anton, Selene was very happy to see the two of them being so affectionate.

"But they don’t seem to mind," whispered Riki.

"I mind! I mind very much!" replied Anton, in a slightly loud voice so that he could be heard clearly.

But Riki pretended not to hear him.

"It seems that the only people who don’t like it are the jealous ones, Liz, so just let it be."

Anton leaned back, glaring at the two of them, while eating a yellow watermelon that wasn’t as sweet as a red watermelon.

"Hello, everyone! I’ve decided to become a beauty influencer who uploads makeup content! Now help me!" said Sofie, who suddenly appeared carrying a camera set and a large makeup bag.

Liz and Selene’s eyes widened when Sofie’s gaze fell on them.

After a fun afternoon with Anton, Liz, Selene, and Sofie, Riki was in a good mood. Suddenly, at around seven in the evening, Riki and Anton were summoned to the police station, along with Sofie.

Leon picked up the three of them at the mansion. This time, Leon looked very cheerful.

Riki didn’t even need to use his detection skills to see what was going on with the rich and handsome detective. It was easy to guess that he had gotten a lot of information after getting close to Hannah.

Riki didn’t care what Leon did to Hannah, but he thought that a slightly crazy but rule-abiding adult like Leon was the one who could handle a young woman like Hannah.

Riki didn’t even care if Leon was just going to play with Hannah later, because Hannah had to experience what it was like to be played with by someone else.

As Riki predicted, at the police station, they were questioned. The ones questioning them were Leon and his friend, who was just as handsome. Because both of them were handsome, Sofie was very happy and did not hesitate to reveal all of her parents’ crimes. Sofie was still an emotionally unstable teenager, she easily exploded when her emotions were triggered by something. So, the girl also easily revealed other crimes committed by her parents, besides helping to get rid of Riki’s parents. These included embezzling company funds, defrauding investors, and not paying employees their proper wages. In fact, Sofie also revealed her father’s depraved behavior of harassing female employees at his office.

Hearing Sofie dare to say all that made Anton finally dare to say that his father had sexually harassed him.

This made the two handsome detectives shake their heads in disbelief at what they had heard.

Leon smiled broadly, "I think we can make their punishment even heavier."

Riki also smiled, "You can arrange it, I’ll leave it to you."
